Kids Feeding Kids hosts annual events and giveaways and lends a hand to those in need. The following are a few of the annual events which are only accomplished with a lot of help from generous donations from caring individuals and organizations. Back to School Giveaway
When it’s time to go back to school, Kids Feeding Kids gets the kids ready with new backpacks filled with all the necessary school supplies and gives a bag of clothes for each child as well as food. A recent theme was “Operation Making the Grade”, and we gave out 100 backpacks. We couldn’t do it without all the generous donations from folks like you.
Thanksgiving Dinners
Every Thanksgiving, with the help of many local stores, churches, businesses and individuals, Kids Feeding Kids gathers turkeys and all the trimmings to create Thanksgiving Baskets for those who would otherwise go without.
Christmas Gift Baskets
Each year at Christmastime, Kids Feeding Kids hosts an annual Christmas gift giveaway. Each year we have a different theme for the event but the key aspects remain the same: giving toys and food to children in need. Our 4th annual event was themed “Starry Night” and we gave toys to 100 kids and shared a movie and snacks during the gathering.
Prom Dress & Tuxedo Giveaway
As the school year comes to a close and prom season comes around, Kids Feeding Kids hosts a drive for donations of prom dresses and tuxedos which are all given away.
